If the AWB does expire and there will be nore more dates or LEO marking on mags anymore how will they determine the differece from preban.  This issue would be for  AWB states that wont expire like NY.

AND, what is the legality of dremeling off the markings after 9/13?

I think that they will continue to mark them becuase of the AWB states.  They might change it to a date only stamp or some other modified stamp.

I doubt they would stamp them just because of some states.

It would really depend on what each states AWB states on how they have to be marked, or if they have to be marked at all in each state.  Then it would be up to manufacturers to decide whether or not they would like their product to comply so it could be sold there.
