Hi, I have refinished several of my magazines with Perma-Slik G, directions on the can say to let dry for 6 hours for full cure. There is no mention of baking the magazines as I have been reading here.  Which method gives the best results? Thanks in advance, Richard

I belive baking gives it a tougher finish.

Is it just me or does "Perma-Slik G" sound like something an inner city "gangsta" would say ?

Baking gives a tougher finish, but I don't bother.

I *think* it lubricates better if you don't bake it.

ALso, I don't mind touching them up from time to time.

and, not baking keeps me in good w/the wife.
