I went to a gun show today in Harrisburg and looked for some 30 rnders. The prices were all over the place.  From $50 to $12 for a used GI.
Can someone tell me this:
Whats the going rate (fair price) for a USGI, (pre ban, of course), USED, no dents, 30 round mag with about 50 - 90% finish.  And black followers.
The cheapest I found were 3 @ $12 each and 2 more @ $16 each.  The next cheapest vendor was $19 and up.

You did well, if they truly were GI contract mags.

USGI used mags in the condition you stated are around $15-$20.

NIW USGI mags usually go for around $25.

I was really surprised at how much they varied in price.  Some clowns actually were trying to get $50!  I noticed the british mags are in abundance, they were going from $15-$25.  I would have assumed that a glut of the Brit mags would have lowered the price of the GI mags, but no such luck.

I went to buy a USGI yesterday at the local gunshop - He wanted $39.95 for a NIW.  I said thanks but no thanks.  Of course his response 'thats the going rate - you better check your facts Mr.'  LOL
