Are the Tapco kits mil-spec?  There was a thread quite some time ago about them.  Troy or anyone with info,  please share it.

Have no personal experience w/the followers, but previous posts indicated that the followers are aftermarket, and not milspec.

While I do business w/TAPCO two or three times a year, and enjoy the experience, you do have to be a little careful with what you order from them. Basically, if the price on something is really good, it's probably aftermarket [:D]

Thanks.  That's what I thought.  I'll get mine from ComputerGuy, Georgia Precision, or CMMG.

I have some and they do appear to be mil. spec. The follower is a olive green instead of the light green. The springs are sturdy I will have to use a Dial Caliber on them, but I believe they are thicker than the springs that came with the USGI Mags.
