I just bought a bunch of M855 that came with a bag with stripper clips. i have no clue on how to load the 10rd stripper clips in the mag.

You also need a loading spoon, which slips over the top of the magazine and holds the stripper clip. Once the stripper clip has been inserted in the spoon, press the rounds in using a smooth, firm motion with the pressure applied near the base of the rounds.   Twisting the stripper clip back and forth a couple of times and bending one of the retainer tabs out of the way first makes them work a little easier.  Save the strippers.

Anybody you know who's in the military should be able to pick up some loading spoons and stripper clips for you if you ask nicely.  They're just thrown out with the trash at the ranges, usually.

thanks man. all i needed to know was how to fit the stripper guide on the mag and i was all set. i eventually figured it out. god i hate being a newbie...

Get the M16A2 operator's manual.  It's all in there, including clip loading of magazines.

Clean and lube exactly per this manual and you'll have minimal problems.  Note the loading procedures.
