Well it hasn't been released yet so there is no way to know. It has an intended use and for that it could be here for awhile.

I think the guys wildcatting it were more interested in varmints/coyotes though (thus loading light varmint bullets at high velocity) and the LaRue offering will be geared for LR with the 90gr SMK. I am interested to see its SBR performance. Clearly it will have to use slower burning powders than regular 6.8 but if the velocity is coming down from a higher place than 5.56 in the first place it could make 11.5" guns pretty interesting with popular 5.56 bullets. |

As long as it lives up to its velocity claims..... I will buy one.

I see no reason a load couldn't be made using various other 90gr bullets.... and the Fed. ammo link shows a 90gr SMK. |
