I just finished putting together my 10.5" 5.56 and I don't have a chance to get to the range for a while. I have a bunch of m200 LC blanks but I can't find a BFA for such a short barrel. Anyone know of anything ?

Yellow-bodied M4 bfa might work for you. I've used it on barrels down to 7.5 and it works great. If the problem is physically attaching the BFA, you can try a "hollywood" bfa solution under the muzzle device - a solid steel washer with a .060- or so-sized hole drilled through the middle, then installed between the barrel-face and the the muzzle device.

If you do one, be real careful to check the pistol before switching back to live ammo, though.

In the Corps we sometimes would stick a cig butt in the flash hider before installing the BFA.  That ensured operation.

This, The BFA is designed to restrict the gas from blowing out the big open front of the gun and divert it back through the gas port to cycle the action.

I've made a hasty one before by cutting the end off a case and punching out the primer then using the FH to hold it in place. Worked alright.
