Anyone have any experience with Magtech 5.56mm NATO M193 55 Grain FMJ ?

I've shot plenty of their 150gn .308 and it's done fine. Don't see why their 5.56 would be any different reliability wise.

Yeah no issues. plenty 9mm,556,357. No issues. but by no means a SD ammo.

I just bought a 1000 round ammo can of it.  $299 shipped.

I'm tripping because this stuff looks the same  as that recent South African "M193". Same 200 round plastic packs with desiccants. Even the same 50 round box art with triangles on opposite sides.

That's what I was thinking. I may stick to what I know, either Wolf Gold or my own reloads.

I've been using the CBC branded 55gr, 62gr and 77gr for years and it's been perfect

I think the new packaging is green

This is  supposed to be new Magtech/CBC manufactured M193, military grade.  ONE
vendor reports it as 2008-2010 manufacture for the Singapore military.

Check out this video at 0:22, Estonian SF training
You can clearly see a typical CBC yellow/white box SS109 ammo being used by these Estonian soldiers.

CBC/Magtech is good to go.
I LOVE their 77gr OTM ammo.

Any leads on their 77 grain OTM ammo?

Battlefield Las Vegas used it exclusively for a while until Magtech picked up a .mil contract. They said it was the cleanest burning of all ammo they tried.

You can find it but you have to be in for 1000. That is the only way I can find it. ~$600 has been the going rate IIRC.

Edit: Sorry, the sites I was looking at a couple months ago are showing Out of Stock.

These are in high demands and seems to be always in low supply...
I prefer CBC/Magtech 77gr OTM over all other brands (Creedmoor, IMI, BH, PPU), as it is the more accurate load behind BH and it is the cheapest option

The country code in that NSN (the "32" after the 1305 stock class) is assigned to Singapore.  That "ONE" vendor is correct for THAT NSN.

Looks like 2011 was the manufacture date, as well.
