Gent's,

I got a few boxes of Winchester M855 @ Cabela's recently. After inspecting my rounds I discovered 3 rounds each have some bullet setback as, the brass isn't crimped on 1 and barely detectable on the other 2. Are any of these safe to shoot or, are they a no-go? My caliper measurements are as follows for the the 3 pictured below. On a side note, the OAL of all the other rounds is @ 2.24 inches.

a) 2.21 inches
b) 2.22 inches
c) 2.23 inches

Thanks

I'd shoot em.

bullet set back can raise pressures dramatically. With those 5.56 nato loads I would not shoot them as they are high pressure already.

I do not think that is enough setback to have much effect, I would shoot them also.

That much of a difference is no difference...shoot them...or sell them to someone that will.
