| I need to order 1000 rounds of ammo this week, which brand would you pick for $350 or less. |
|
I would probably get Wolff Gold from The Armory or Fed XM193 from PSA. |
|
Quoted: Independence M193, I just found some at south Georgia out doors for $6.60/box Not a bad deal. How much was shipping? |

Is this better ammo than PMC or Federal? Quoted:

Wolf Gold from either SGAmmo or The Armory (if they still have any in-stock). Tomac Is this better ammo than PMC or Federal? Definitely better than PMC Bronze (weak) and I'd still take it over XM193 (YMMV). Tomac |

Why? Wolf GOLD is cheaper and more accurate than xm193. WG is sealed & crimped and is nearly the same velocity as xm193. Quoted:

Fed xm193>Wolf>>>>Pmc Why? Wolf GOLD is cheaper and more accurate than xm193. WG is sealed & crimped and is nearly the same velocity as xm193. This, and from what I've gathered, the WG copper jacket doesn't lend itself to fragmenting quite as well as the 193 either. I know this has no bearing on plinking ammo as the OP asked, but if you buy from the right place it's virtually the same price. Nearly equal price, I'll take the ammo with marginally better ballistics over one with marginally better moa anyday. I like WG. I have over 1500 rounds of it, but I just prefer to have more Fed 5.56/193. |

Yeah, a couple weeks ago the XM193 was a few dollars cheaper. Picked up 9k rounds for my brother at .32/rd delivered. http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=90189 I have gotten strange looks and vague questions from the UPS guy when doing this... |

No shipping as I have a store 20 minutes from me. Have to pay tax though. |
