Hello all- I am a longtime reader, and first time poster.

The Walmart's around me in Wisconsin are all of out the popular ammo of course, and it NEVER shows up as in stock online. The people at the sporting goods desk are pretty decent, and suggested that I just call each day to see if anything came in. Various ammo does trickle in, and I mean trickle!

Two weeks ago ONE box of 50 round BrassMaxx .223 came in- not case, ONE box! I was lucky enough to be driving by and bought that one for $16.97.

Last week one day , they received in 3 boxes of Remington .22 Golden Bullet 225 packs, I ran over and got those 3 for $9.97 each.

They also received a small amount of .45 acp one day, and some 9mm another.- That's it!

It truly trickles in, and you need to be in the right time right place to get it.

The kid at the sporting goods counter said that the ammunition isn't even on the truck manifest, as it is being sent FedEx! Which explains why there are such small quantity's coming in, and nobody ever knows when it will arrive.

The frustrating thing is that there are people buying it when they can find it, and listing it on armslist for three times what they paid.

I am just looking for enough to take my daughter shooting when it warms up! Luckily I scored that .22

Thank you all for your help and input in these trying times!

My walmart got one box of .223 Tula BrassMaxx 10 days ago. But also gets 9mm/.45/.380/.38 every couple of days and .223 once or maybe twice a week.

I live in Brookfield (Waukesha county) & am constantly stopping by Gander Mountain, Cabelas, Fleet farm, Walmart trying to score .22LR

I have a lot off Rem. .22LR from years ago but my new Spike Tactical upper can only cycle Federal reliably. CCI mini mags do pretty good also.

Buying ammo sucks right now and as I stated a month ago, I think its going to take a couple years till shelves are stocked.

No till I can buy more ammo
