After reading Molon's comparison of 5.56 75 gr TAP and the TAP FPD 75 gr, I have come to believe that Hornady got it right offering the FPD for HD.  I am thinking this because the FPD should offer less penetration through walls than the 5.56 version.  What do you guys think?

Faulty logic.  If it penetrates bad guys it will go through walls.  All the 5.56 version really gets you is more range till you reach your frag threshold, and the ability for efficient use of a mil spec chamber.
