What's your make or break price point on bulk .223 / 5.56 ammo?

I'll generally be interested in anything at or below .35 /rd. I know that's crazy, but given the way prices are nowadays I'll at least consider bulk at that price.

God, I need to start loading my own!!

I have a decent pile so 0.25-0.27 cents a round would probably get me to pony up.

Two yrs ago was <30 cnts. Now ≤ 32 cents gets me exited. I watch shipping carefully too.

PSA is having x-tac 5,56 on sale. I paid 210$ for 600 rounds shipped. 35 cents per round of 5.56 makes me happy.

I just got PMC X-Tac 193 at 33 cents, or $332 a case. Steel stuff, I cut off at $250, but try not to pay over $225. For good brass ammo I may go to $350, but have to really be needing it. This is shipping included.
So I do a lot of looking before ordering anything. Sometimes will go for a week just looking at prices.

Nice, where did you get it for .33? I'll buy another 400 rounds at this price.

Also I got savage axis and vepr both in 308 and I just buy Herters ammo for both at cabelas. 1000 rounds comes to 45 cents per round including two ammo dry boxes.

I got it at sportsman guide.$166.24 per 500. I'm in the buyers club, plus it's free shipping for a few days.

I reload 0.15 cents per round!

I also cast my own 45ACP $1.75 per box of #50...I could NOT shoot if I didn't reload!

Cabellas has PMC .223 for 5.99 a box with $5 shipping on orders over $100.

Ah good ol sportsmans guide. Have to check it more often. Nicely priced Russian ammo there.

As of cabela's 223. I compared 600 rounds shipped from cabelas and 600 of x-tac shipped from PSA and xtac were only 8$ more . So I went with 5.56.

I don't generally buy 193 or 855 unless it's below 36c/round. If I'm going to shoot wolf, then I don't pay over about 25c

Yeah, it was going to cost me abut .325/rd after taxes and shipping. I debated getting a case but decided to skip.

Yea, Gun-Deals shows PMC Bronze is running $0.31 per round before shipping, so $0.29 is a good deal.
