| I always hear things about steel case ammunition as being bad to shoot. I hear that its hard on extractors and bolt faces. I even hear that it wears out chambers faster. No compaies like Hornady atart making steel cased ammo and say it's OK. The SKS and AK47 has been using steel cased ammo for 50 years. They don't have problems with extractors wearing out or bolt faces and chambers being worn out. Is steel case really bad or are modern guns like the AR15 and AR10 OK when shooting steel cased ammounition. I would like to separate fact from fiction. |
