| Do you guys ever use tracers in your mags. so you will know you are about to run out of ammo and need to install another mag.so you dont run out at a wrong time?If yes,how many rounds do you have left when you start seeing tracers fired & how many tracers do you use for this low ammo alert? |

"Tracers work both ways."
I run a magazine "hot" with tracers for target designation and marking when working in "team" scenarios. Otherwise I'm not a fan of mixing in tracers with my ammunition or using it as a "low ammo" indicator. They're useful in support and belt-fed weapons in area fire, but less so, IMHO, for an individual weapon. ~Augee |
