I have a bunch of once fired LC M193 5.56 brass that I been thinking about reloading to M193 specs.
The problem is I can't seem to find the FMJ bullets, primers and power that makes this economically feasible over buying new Federal LC M193 at 29 cents a round. Any advise, can I reload my own M193 cheaper that I can buy new? |

Usually, the real $$$ to be saved in reloading, is in higher end stuff. It is almost better to just buy "blasting" ammo, if that is what you want. Hope this helps, L2B Yeah I kinda figured that, I will be reloading my .308 stuff so I can see a savings there. So far I figure I can reload M193 for about 20 cents a round with my used brass. Another couple question. How many times can LC M193 5.56 brass be reloaded safely? I also have a large amount of the 5.56 Privi M193 brass, is this OK to reload and how many times is safe? Thanks |

I can roll my own for $160/1000. Look at Powder Valley for powder and primers (if you do a group buy with other locals you can split the hazmat and shipping up to 50lbs bullets $71 CCI primers $24 Varget powder $139.50 per 8lbs * 7000grains/lbs / 26grains per load = 2153 loads... $139.50/2153= $0.0647> $65/1000 Total 71+24+65= $160/1000 rounds or just give me your brass |

Thanks From what I have read and heard from other reloaders... if you dont use a full length sizer die (use a neck sizer only) and anneal your brass the life can be extended significantly. Especially if you dont load them overly hot. |
