ok, so i'm planning on doing a 6.5 build soon. which type of 6.5 ammo should i be looking for? so far i've seen 6.5x55 swedish mauser ( i'm pretty sure this one is out of the question), 6.5 creedmoor, 6.5 grendel, 6.5 jap and the 6.5 carcano. or will all these work?

Only the Grendel will fit in an AR15. I believe the Creed will fit in the AR10.

Wolf will be offering 6.5 Grendel in steel case starting Q1 2012 for about the same as current .223 steel case. If you want to shoot it a lot, 6.5x38 is the obvious choice.

yeah i was just wondering, because a local store sells some 6.5 but not the 6.5 grendel. i'll have to look into the wolf once i get started on the build.
