I went on a machine gun shoot recently and the man who owned the machine guns said I was free to take all of the brass I found for reloading.  After I got home and inspected the cases I noticed about half of what I found was O L C 6 marked clockwise on the bottom of the case.  I tried searching for information regarding who made this brass, I figured it was lake city but I am not sure.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Well, the markings were all evenly spaced so I just started from the "O" which was olc6 but starting from "L" makes it L C 6 O so yeah I guess it is Lake city, thanks for the help!

.223 presumably (since I didn't check before I fired what type of ammo it was)

That would be negative ghostrider.

223 came around in '64

It's probably LC 09

Like this?

Lake City, 2009.

Surprised he wasn't saving it to reload himself.
