I see in stores, AE223 Tactical and AE X193 Tactical.

I understand, that one is 223 and the other is 5.56.

My questions is : For this ammo, 1- is there a difference in Velocity?
2- bullet type,is it the same or not?

Any other info ,is appreciated.

My barrel is 5.56, however 223 ammo is way cheaper in Canada.

Thanks.

Bullet type, im not sure.

As for velocity the 5.56 version can be anywhere from 200-300fps faster.

I'd only buy 5.56 for defense or SHTF.

Two different bullet types.  The AE223 shoots about 1.5" - 2" lower than the XM-193.  That's through carefull aims, slow fire trying to get as tight as a pattern as possible.  For self defense / training purposes I've never noticed any difference.

AE is definitely more "accurate" than the XM-193.

YMMV and all that, of course.
