Anyone have any info on this ammo? Checked the ammo faq, and searched, but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

| Generally it's been stated that the suffix on the XM193 simply denotes the style of packaging (ie, 20 round white pack/brown pack/ black pack/ 30 round stripper clipped packs/ loose packs). I don't know if it's true or not, but it's what I've heard. XM193 is generally GTG. I've had a couple primers blow out before, but that's the only issue I've ever had. |

Depends on what you want it for. I also have had blown primers with XM193. Those primer pieces can really fuck up your day when they jam up your rifle or get in your FCG.
If that doesn't bother you then go for it. Otherwise I think you can do better with PVRI or the winchester Q3131A1. |

IMI is definitely GTG.
But FWIW, I run XM193CBP (Commercial Bulk Pack) exclusively in my AR and w/ out problems. The only 2 failures my AR witnessed was from user error from friends using the gun. Ironically enough it really like the XM193 over most .223 rounds that are sold here locally (which isn't much) |

Q3131A1 is made by PMC and will cost you close to $100.00 more per case than PMC it should be a hotter load than the PMC since the Q3131A1 is a 5.56x45 round vs .223 and I know the Q3131A1 has a sealed primer. <Multiple forum shilling for Wrigley Ammo - Check your IM - Z> |
