Anybody use these for long term storage, GTG or no?

I got one from Bass Pro and its great for a general gun box, but there is no seal, so no, I wouldn't use it for ammo. I use mine for all my shooting accessories and tools. They cost the same as gunshow GI ammo cans so there is no real reason to use them for ammo.

Same here. There is no real seal even though there is a rubber gasket. It does not seal airtight.

I also use mine for parts or a travel ammo box. Not for long term storage.

My biggest problem is that these are plastic boxes and flex.  Given this, when I pick up a heavy one, the seal it no longer sealed as the plastic flexes and a gap opens.

I use them for cleaning supplies and other commonly used items as a quick grab container.  Not for long term storage of anything.

I don't know if they're the same, but I have three of the Remington (Flambeau) dry boxes from Walmart. If they're not the same box, then they're very similar.

I use one as an ammo caddy for range trips. I keep accessories (baynets, scopes, lights, batteries, etc.) in another, and my AR tools in the other .

Even though they're advertised as "dry" the dinky seal in them doesn't inspire confidence. I wouldn't store ammo long-term in one.

I have a couple of different makes and none of them are 100% waterproof but make more than adequate storage/transit boxes. I use one for my range box, two to store magizines and the others to store other stuff (one is dedicated to black powder cleaning stuff) I bought two Flambeau boxes the other day at Gander Mountain for about $4.00 more than surplus GI Cans. Thaey are a lot largrer and fit my needs better. I still have plenty of GI Cans for ammunition.
