This Thu & Fri, I'm expecting my UPS delivery (in WA) on my PSA order (m855 ammo) that I placed on 12/27 and 12/28. Crossing my fingers that UPS is on time. I need to get my rebate papers in.
Aloha, Mark |

I got my first of four packages that I was expecting from PSA. The request for the rebate money is already in the mail.
More ammo is due tomorrow. Aloha, Mark |

Has anyone submitted more than twice??? Wondering if maybe they don’t care as long as you don’t go over the max rebate amount...
This is what I did before the deadline: 1680 AE M193 2000 AE M855 Nothing this week...so far |

I’m trippin’...I decided to order another can on the 8th and now I’m worried it won’t make it in time. I already put one submission in, so I have to wait for it before I can submit the rest I bought... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Mind you that I have a hard time reading the small print (I'm using a magnifying glass). But........
I did NOT see where it says, "Only two rebates per household." So, reading it again, I did see where it said...... "Maximum of a $400 rebate per household." Aloha, Mark |

And, the waiting begins. Aloha, Mark |

Hi Mark, it only says it under the rules on the myonlinerebate electronic form. You’re right that it doesn’t list it on the Federal rebate flyer. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I tested how my steel cased ammo would stand up to moisture. First threw it in a puddle in my backyard, one is Wolf 223 HP (Polymer Coating) and Brown Bear HP (Lacquer and sealed at primer). Left it in there for a few hours, nothing noticeable happened. I then tossed it on the wet grass to air dry in wet and humid conditions. Next day, overnight, I checked and both rounds had not rusted. Good enough for me, in a scenario where you get wet and forget/no time to dry out your steel cased ammo; it would probably still function. I later threw both of them in a bucket of water and forgot about it for a few days. They both had rust, more so on the Wolf, but not a significant amount. The rim of the casing started to have rust, and the neck where the bullet and casing "meet up". At that point I wouldn't bet my life on it functioning; a rusted rim might have extraction issues and so might the rust on the neck. I threw more water and salt into the small bucket and few days later only a little more rust appeared; I expected it to be half gone. They still "shake" and I can hear the powder inside but who knows if it's compromised.
Bottom line, shtf, my rifles eat steel cased ammo and a little moisture wont kill it unless it is very humid and wet for days. |

Applied for my type 03 FFL so I can continue to buy ammo in California without vaseline and a surgical glove.

Took the plunge on 1200 rds IMI 55gr 5.56 and grabbed 1000 rds CCI Mini Mag.
Wondering if I should have done another 1200 IMI at that price?! |

View Quote Part of me says no, since it is not as accurate as GECO 5.56 (tho at $0.33/rd, 37% more expensive), and I want to buy one of those Brownells XM16E1... but I have a feeling brass cased 5.56 won't get much cheaper than this. |
