I am having problems with a New AR I just got through building .   I have been reloading for years and this is the first problem I have run into that I have not been able to work through..     I admit through I have not been reloading for the 223 for that long so think of me as a newbe    I need help!!!!
I have a JT 5.56 upper with A Lauer lower .   Here is the problem,  it will shoot any thing I put through it as long as it is factory ammo,
I have about 20 rounds of factory and about 100 rounds of reloads through it so far but it is not reliable with the reloads.
I have checked and re checked all the reloads with a case gauge each one falls in and out with ease.  I have checked OL
and it is ok all so.  I am not sure what to look at next.           This is the 3rd JT upper I have bought with the same issue they run great with reloads after a couple 1000 rounds of factory ammo but not before.  I Keep going back to JT because of the customer service and quality of there product.      I have a OLY upper and it has been reliable with every thing I have run through it from the start.    What am I doing wrong?

Are you using a good powder that has true information on .223 reloads (i.e., pressures, fps, grains, etc.)?
-  Is the powder new or old? Recommend buying some different/same powder as well.
-  Check the primers too. I recommend Winchester primers.
-  Is the bullet seating in far enough?
-  Is the ammo malfunctioning before it chambers (feeding) or after it fires?
