Just purchased a 22 conversion kit from Ciener for my AR. Have been told by some that I should only shoot copper plated ammo, or the lead ammo will foul up my gas tube. Others have said after shooting the lead 22 fire some regular 223 and this will blow out the system.  Any advice on this would be appreciated.
BTW I haven't received the kit yet. I ordered it about 1 month ago and am still waiting.

Start with CCi Mini Mags untill you are broken in and slicked up , then try it all and run whatever runs reliable and gives you the accuracy you want at the price you can find it at.
I don't ever "clean " my gas tube, never had a problem
