So I get an e-mail from Sportsman's Guide that the .223 I ordered now won't be in til June, not April. "Do you want to keep the order?" they ask.
The price shipped is $351/k, but the brand is not stated. Says "Current production. Brass-cased. Boxer-primed. Fully reloadable. 55-gr. full metal jacket bullet. Copper jacketed, lead core. Muzzle Velocity: 3,250 F.P.S. Muzzle Energy: 1,289 ft.-lbs. " I guess my view is that keeping the order is a free option. I can always cancel later prior to delivery if the bubble in the market pops, but I can happily take shipment if it stays at $400+ per thousand. |
