| Ran across about 1000 rounds of IMI M855 in 30 round boxes. I can pick it up for $400 cash out the door/500 rounds. Seems ammunitiontogo.com is wanting the same or more for Federal or Winchester. I am looking to supplement my ammo stash with some 855. Do you think this is worth it or just stay with the PRVI for a lot less? Thanks in advance. |

No M855 is worth that much. I'm not that big a fan of M855 at all. All you really get with M855 is the high level of QC that goes into LC military ammo. Other than that, it's average, at best, performing ammo. I've tested it quite a bit.
I wasn't too thrilled about paying $375 for 1000 rounds of "real deal" 08 LC M855 through a private deal from a buddy in Iraq. I'd rather stock up on XM193 or plain old Wally world federal than IMI at that absurd price. |
