Guys,
I should know better, but I don't......so here goes. Is Wolf 5.56 or .223? Is PMC Bronze 5.56 or .223? When I did a search for 5.56 on an ammo site (Able?) PMC came up. However, the PMC ad did not list it as 5.56. |

Or was it ok to shoot .223 in a 5.56 but not the other way around? I know this is AR15 101 type stuff....but I swear, I can never remember. |

Does it make a difference if you're AR is stamped 5.56 and .223 on the barrel? The barrel stamp is what matters, that is what the barrel is chambered for. The markings on the lower can say anything - i.e. "multi-cal", "9mm" etc... I guess that was what I was trying to say. If you're barrel is stamped with both then you should be OK. |
