Or was it ok to shoot .223 in a 5.56 but not the other way around? I know this is AR15 101 type stuff....but I swear, I can never remember. |

.223 in 5.56 is just fine. 5.56 in .223 might cause problems.

Does it make a difference if you're AR is stamped 5.56 and .223 on the barrel?
