I didnt find this stuff in the stickies and I think if this was just laid out it would make things for us nublets easier
Here are my questions what does PRVI mean? LC is Lake City M855 (Green tip?) Is the Federal I buy at walllyworld XM193? What does OTM mean? and if my RRA is chambered for 5.56 then it will run .223 just fine right? |

Stands for Privi Partisan brand of ammo LC is Lake City M855 (Green tip?) LC stands for Lake City ammo, that doesn't mean M855 ammo. M855 can be made by multiple manufacturers such as Sellier and Bellot, Lake City, Winchester, IMI, etc. Lake City does make M193 and M855 among other things though. Is the Federal I buy at walllyworld XM193? No, or at least I've never seen it at wallyworld. If you buy XM193 it will say it on the box. Again Federal is a brand/manufacturer of ammo and they make multiple kinds of ammo. Civvie and military ammo both. What does OTM mean? Open tip match and if my RRA is chambered for 5.56 then it will run .223 just fine right? |
