Given that we have 5.56 bullets in 55 g to 80g, why aren't there any 5.56 bullets designed with a hollow cavity at the tip, like the 5.45 x 39, to increase bullet yaw and effectiveness?

You mean bullets like the
68gr Hornady OTM
69gr SMK
73gr Berger OTM
75gr Hornady OTM
77gr Nosler OTM
77gr SMK

All of which yaw quickly (well except the SMK's they are variable) but in additon to the yaw they FRAGMENT (which the 5.45 does not do) which greatly increases the dammage they do.

The hollow tip doesn't contribute to yaw. Fackler orignially surmised it did, but there have been other FMJ bullets without the tip that show the double-lobed yaw pattern of 7N6.
