Am I going to find anything cheaper than the Centurian lead core brass that AIM has on sale for $170 per 500?  I'm not a big fan of running wolf or brown bear thru my AR.  Fine for my dirty ol' AK though  That said would splurge and get the Remington FMJ that cabellas has for $190 per 500?

I'd go this route if I had more change to spend. I just caved and bought some Brown Bear to try out though.

The Gunbroker deal has a fixed shipping charge of $20 for each 500 round case you buy. So 1000 rounds would cost $40 to ship. If your shipping across the country it's a decent deal. If you're near the mid west it's kind of crappy.

You can get 1000 rounds of XM193 at Outdoormarksman for roughly $380 shipped(depending on your shipping charge. Give or take $5 to $8). They have warehouses on the East and West side of the country. But are currently out in the East side warehouse. They have a coupon code in the EE.

I figured there wasn't going to be too much of anything else cheeper.  I just was fishing to see if someone would say "it sucked" or "don't buy under any circumstance."  And really, I've had good dealings with AIM before so I shouldn't really worry.

edit for $ 20 I'd get the Remington, I think. Not sure I've shot that.
Personally I shoot tons of wolf.
