Anyone ever heard of Frontier ammo?   The headstamp says "FRONTIER 223 REM" and it has a red plastic tip.  I know it's some type of frangible, but I'd like to know what it's capable of, and can't find anything online.  Thanks

I have some old 5.56 NATO Hornady TAP that's headstamped "Frontier 556 NATO".

It's Hornady and probably some type (V-Max?) of varmint round.

I used to shoot lots of that brand before I began reloading.I bought 168 grain match .308 by the case for about .$30 each Frontier boxes of twenty rounds and that was about fifteen years ago and still reloading the brass today for silhouette using mid range powered loads
