Military classic has the old laquer (green colored casing)coating.  The black box has the newer polymer coating (grey/black colored casing).

Other than that not much, it still is really dirty, cheap (in relative terms vs. brass ammo right now), and good for storage especially if you find the sealed spam cans.

The Military Classic is no longer lacquer coated its all polymer now the difference is one is boxer primed the other berden I just can't remember which.

The Tula manufactured Wolf black box is boxer primed.
