I DONT THINK WIEGHT HAS MUCH TO DO WITH IT LOOK AT DPX 53gr 223 or 115gr 9mm DPX I think it has to do with How the Bullet is made Like a thick jacket, type of metal used etc! Just a thought and yes I use 75gr OTM |
| DPX is unique in that there is limited expansion and typically 100% weight retention. Most SP/HP 50-55 gr bullets fragment violently and underpenetrate (except bonded bullets). Bullet design is critical, but at some point the weight deficit cannot be overcome by design or velocity and a heavier bullet is required. Given propely designed projectiles heavier bullets will have more robust expansion and better terminal performance. |
Plus it don't use Lead its solid copper HP I just get Tried of Hearing about Lite bullets being the reason |
