I am returning 1k of Winchester Crap 55 gr FMJBT bullets. Do I have to put the ORM-D sticker on the package? Its just the bullets, thats it.

NO.

PS.  - A flat rate box is probably the least expensive way to mail them.  The box will be huge for what is inside, but why pay more for a smaller box?

Ok thanks. Winchester is picking up the tab for the return shipping. The bullets that I bought were so inconsistent in size I couldnt get a consistent OAL. I had written a letter to them and within 1 week and a reply. The bullets were off as much as .04 in length, the cannalure was all over the place on the bullets. They were CRAP !! :)

Rub--daggone! that's wierd. same with me. I bought a full case of Winnie 150gr .30 cals, and man--half of 'em sucked! terrible ogives, p-poor finishes, etc.

they want 'em all back with a return mail slip and they will replace all.

a factory guy said they had "issues" at their factory running my lot.

naw! no need for the ORM-D label.

I heard from an industry person that Winchester is needing thier components for thier own use on gov contracts so buying from other suppliers to fill retail orders. That is why you get some terrible crap from time to time.

Yea, crap is right. I sent them a small sample out of the 1k that I have. I'm sure that they will make good and return my purchase price. I will go out and buy Hornady bullets next. The Remington bullets that I had were better than the Winchester.
