I bought a battle pac of 200 rounds of this stuff. They were boxed up in 20 round boxes. The box has: 20 pc CARTRIDGES 5,56 X 45mm SS109/M855 LOT 02 IK 03 Head stamp is: IK 03 5.56x45 They have a painted on green tip and the primmer has red paint on it. I took some pics but i don't think they with help cam. sucks Just would like to know if this ammo sucks or if I need to do repairs on my AR. They caused the gun to short stoke. |
| Did you try any other brans of Nato velocity ammo? Maybe some Q3131, Prvi, etc? I wont come right out and say its the Bushmaster, BUT, to date, I have read about 3 diffrent 20 Inch bushmasters choking on 3 diffrent types of ammo. 1 was privi partisan, 1 was PMC, and now yours, on the Igman. Check your carrier key, make sure its tight and staked properly. Try a diffrent brand of Nato spec ammo, something that is hot like true 5.56. I cant honestly tell you if its your gun or the ammo, but, after all I have fired, I do know it works in all of my guns. Hope everything works out for yah!! |

I had good luck with rem. 55g, pmc 55g and something else can't remember. This ammo and radway green is the only 2 that made it short stroke. The radway has head stamp: ROBG 06 and some symbo a circle with a cross in it. Also I reloaded some of the radway with win. 55g psp bullets and they shot fine |
A lot of weapons have trouble with it. There are plenty of "why won't my weapon cycle?" posts...and they are all about either Wolf with new weapons, or this stuff with new OR used weapons, or the pre '07 Prvi with 20" weapons. |
