I went to see "I am Legend" yesterday.
Half way through I realized I was watching a remake of "The Omega Man" but with Will Smith instead of Charlton Heston.
These zombies were much tougher!
I'll have to get more of the Federal TRU 55 grain Ballistic Tip for these guys.
Even then it would take multiple hits!

I saw the movie also over the weekend. Those damn zombies were taking 3-5 hits of .223 before slowing down. I think the only thing that would stop those zombies in there tracks would be a good ol 12 gauge with a bunch of buckshot. That movie makes you want to collect more ammo.

If you would just read the posts here you would realize that the secret is the head shot.  Every body knows you shoot a zombie in the guts and you just wasted a shot.  Shoot them in the brain area.

Saw the movie last night.  The ending sucked.  Wil Smith should have carried more magazines as well.  I couldn't visibly see any extras....though his Weapons' Locker kicked ass...

Didn't it though?  I seriously have been jonesing for an M4gery with an ACOG after watching that movie.  And I'm seriously going to put one together in January.  I needed an M4 anyway since I don't have one.

I loved the movie -- but I loved the Omega Man and can still vividly remember it even though I was just a kid at the time I watched it.  I wasn't surprised at the ending since I knew how the other movie ended.  I need to read the book it's based off of.

Oh, and those are vampires, not zombies.

I was drooling over his weapons locker with 3 of the same M4 in there and a bunch of mags.  All he needed for uber-coolness was an MEUSOC 1911 or something like that.  His awesome dog made up for that though.

I've always liked Will Smith.  He's a good actor and did well in this movie.

Didn't CH carry a 9mm Madsen in the Omega Man?

I looked up the original movie and they are vampires not zombies, still pretty cool though

I read the book. In it they are vampires. I have not seen the movie b/c I heard it sucked as hard as the book. Save for Smith's M4.

During the movie I just kept thinking about how much I want to lay my hands on that new Speer 64 gr SP.
