Which wolf ammo is safe to use in a AR15.  There ares many different forms of  5.56 ammunition made by wolf.  Which is safe?

It's all SAFE.

Just depends were you stand on the whole "steel" case debate.

The new steel cases have a poly coating which makes clean up easier than the Military Clasic stuff, which has the Laquer coating on it, which can melt and be difficult to clean out of the chamber.

But it is all SAFE.

Shoot which ever one you want.

All are safe.  Just some guns don't like it as well as others.  WOLF IS SAFE.

Ok then, what is the safest wolf ammunition to use in an AR-15?

This is not a hard concept to grasp...

It is all safe; however, some guns do not function properly with it for whatever reason.  I have never owned an AR that wouldn't shoot Wolf, and I never will.  I shoot thousands of rounds of it every year through both semi and full auto and I've never had a problem other than the gun getting dirty.

Get a few boxes and try it out in your gun before you splurge on a whole case.

Ditto.  Safe for all guns.  Little dirtier, funky smell, not as good of groups but goes bang and will hit pop cans.  In my eyes its safer than surplus because its lower pressure.  Its not match ammo but for plinking its safe and is way better than not shooting.

"Safe" implies that use may or may not cause damage or injury.  All Wolf is safe.  The question you seem to really want answered (and it's a common question) is "what Wolf will work in my AR.  Buy ONE box of each.  Shoot it, starting with a clean rifle.  Evaluate how it works, how clean/dirty it is, and how accurate you are with it.  Then you decide which one your rifle likes and you buy that.

I should point out that the brass-cased ammo sold under the Wolf name is NOT made by Wolf.  It's Prvi Partisan, made in Serbia, and reputed to be really good stuff.  If you got the stuff labeled as M193-equivalent, (and got it recently-there were labeling issues a while back), then it IS M193 equivalent and thus primo stuff.

I'd even go so far to say that Wolf is safer than alot of brass case ammo. You hardly ever hear about KBs with Wolf (Russian), maybe it has something to do with the steel case or the fact that its underloaded, or that the machines were set up in Russia at a time when causing a KB meant somebody was going to the gulag.

Both of my Bushys have shot wolf ammo well, it's just dirty, a bit underpowered and gives loose groups. Other than that, it's cheap and safe.
