If its ok to ask a reloading question in this forum?

Assuming one has enough brass, and the euipment. Is it cost effective to do so? Once you factor in the primers, powder and bullets whats a rough cost?? Are bullets readily available for the 223/5.56? I am interested in doing 9mm and 223 if its economically feasible

appreciate any input,

After looking at ammo prices yesterday, I was thinking the same thing.  Components aside from the brass would run about the same as Barnaul.
1K pack of Winchester 55 gr FMJ - .07
26 gr Win 748 - .09
primer - .02
Total .18 per round
Buying 8# kegs of powder might shave off a couple cents.
So reloading is a little cheaper and you will have better ammo if you do your job.  But this doesn't include the equipment which for me would include a progressive press, dies, and power trimmer.  And then figuring out where to put it.

Absolutely not ! You should leave reloading to the profeshunals !
