I'm new on this forum but not new to reloading, still I'm not familiar with the term 'OTM' following certain bullets, ie Nosler 77gr OTM. Thanks

the distinction being that it is not the same as hollow point due to limited expansion....hense OTM instead of HP even though they may look similar.

And it's easier to deal with than Hollow Point Boat Tail Match (HPBTM).

Although similar rounds are often called HP, HPBT, or HPBT-M

Yup to everthing above, the HP is a secondary result of the manufacturing process, its not some designed cavity to aid in expansion as seen in other bullets precisely designed for a HP tip, think .40S&W Winchester Ranger.
