[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Monarch ammo

I took about 60 rounds of the .223 55gr FMJ to the range today and I would manually load the first one shoot it and then a FTF. Or it would not expel the case all the way and feel another on causing a foul up. Has anybody experienced this with Monarch or it just me>

I have to ask the stupid question. Did you go to a rifle length buffer and recoil spring?

Might just have to chalk it up to "will not use this shit anymore" and move on. Kinda hard to troubleshoot a cycling issue with a historically underpowered ammo source.

Yes it a rifle length buffer and recoil spring. I will stick to a nother type of ammo.
