Advertised as follows:

This 9MM ammunition was made by IMI in Israel in the 70's. It is for Sub-Machine gun use only. It is +P+ and the primers are set for machine gun use. The manufacturer told us that it is non-corrosive, but after testing it we are not so sure, so we are selling it as corrosive ammunition. The ammunition is brass cased boxer primed with a 115 grain lead core bullet.  This ammunition is bulk packed and sold 2000 rounds to the case, with a minimum order of one case.

Has anyone shot any of this in their 9mm AR? How about a MAC or UZI?

I've shot +p+ out of an M10 before.

But i won't be shooting corrosive anytime soon.

I wouldn't make a habit out of using it in a MAC....especially an M11/nine.

i have a m11/9 and won't shoot the +p stuff out of it. it just doesn't seem like a smart idea. i do think it would boost the cyclic rate some....until it blows up the gun

How about someone that has actually used the ammunition referenced in the title.......

I've fired around 2k rounds of it through my Uzi with no problems other than 2 duds. It's definitely hot!

On an open bolt gun, hotter ammo SLOWS the ROF.  Sounds crazy, but if you think about it, the hotter the ammo, the further the bolt is thrown back, the further it must travel....hence, the slower the ROF.

The IMI stuf is QUITE powerful, dont shoot +P+....unless you have an Uzi.

perhaps on some..but i've got mine short stroked to the point where the bolt will barely lock back the hot stuff would most assuredly boost my ROF tremendously.

If you dont mind me asking, who is selling it?  I believe I got mine from Wiedners, several years ago, at a SMOKIN price.

On a mac, the bolt smacks the back of the receiver. take a look at one of the buffers sometime. i don't have a shot counter with ROF, but i would guess it's faster. The bolt's flying back faster, and smacking off the rear of the receiver faster. Now, if there was more distance for the bolt to travel, i would definitly agree with you.

Zak, did you short stroke to try to increase ROF? or were you having cycle issues?  I use mine in sub-gun matches, the slower the better (ammo managment).  The +P+ was the ticket, sadly it is all gone.

Yep southern ammo good guys !!Works great in an Uzi!! Might be coris.... But we clean after anyway .In the 2000 boxes you need to watch might be other bullets in there..Also all kinds of year marks ..But like what I bought from them 1 year ago ..Whats the price now?

A friend of mine and I went in on 5 cases. Mixed headstamps, a few rounds of other pistol ammo , corrosive, inconsistent, a few duds. It has been tumbled. We figured the stuff works better if you sort it. I sorted by decade and it helps.  some is corrosive up to the 70's  so plan on a good cleaning. I use it in my Uzi and have ran some out of my glock. It has hard primers. he runs it out of a swedish K. I do not feed my Mac +p ammo

If you are going to shoot the IMI +P+ through a 9mm AR, you are going to have to change out your buffer, and put the heaviest one available in it.

It works great in Uzi's
