| Checked the Ammo Review and didn't see anything on 62gr IMI. My scoped RRA Entry Tactical is grouping LC XM855 2" at 100yds (10 rd groups). How has the IMI compared to the LC? Lucked up on a case of '99 headstamp. |
| I can't comment specifically about the M855, but in my experiences, the IMI M193 was always more accurate for me than XM193. That doesn't mean the XM193 was bad, just that the IMI that was that good. Whether that translates over into M855 as well I do not know. But your IMI should be some top knotch ammo. |
I bought a bunch of IMI M855 back in 1999 Shoots the SAME as Lake CIty in all My AR`s Out of all the M855 & SS109 Ive shot S&B SS109 and Santa Barbra SS109 have been HADS DOWN the Most accurate in my bushmasters and LMT M4`s Dont know Why it just is |

I still have about 2K of 98 and 99 IMI M855. It shot about the same as the 91,93,and 94 LC I had at the time. This is back when I would use this stuff as blasting ammo. The remaining IMI I have left is on stripper clips in ammo cans. I won't be shooting it until such time as I can replace it with new M855 (not factory rejects). It might be there for awhile, unfortunately. |

I knew a guy who bought A PALLET of 62 cases of this M855 from Botach in Los Angeles. They gave him a deal at $199 a case (Will Call p/u) and he and his buddies shot it all up in less than a year. I've shot up about 10K when I got it for $199 of the IMI M193 and all of it was good stuff. Real good...too bad it's gone. All of it All I have left of the M193 is 660 rds loaded in mags in my SHTF grab-n-go can... |
