Checked the Ammo Review and didn't see anything on 62gr IMI. My scoped RRA Entry Tactical is grouping LC XM855 2" at 100yds (10 rd groups). How has the IMI compared to the LC? Lucked up on a case of '99 headstamp.

I can't comment specifically about the M855, but in my experiences, the IMI M193 was always more accurate for me than XM193. That doesn't mean the XM193 was bad, just that the IMI that was that good. Whether that translates over into M855 as well I do not know. But your IMI should be some top knotch ammo.

IMI M855 is pretty rare to find, so I haven't bothered adding it to the review. It is very high quality ammo though.

Thank you gentlemen for your comments. I'll let everyone know how it performs. Should be fun. Little ammo porn.

I have a last 10 round Stripper clip, 1985. I bought  A crate of 1200 in 1989. $250.00 plus tx. It was hard hitting.I broke my first Colts Cherry with it.

Although M855 is not my primary load and not something I'd waste my funds stocking up on; I too have some of this IMI M855 ammo stuck back.

Ditto comments above, high quality rounds.

I still have about 2K of 98 and 99 IMI M855.

It shot about the same as the 91,93,and 94 LC I had at the time.  This is back when I would use this stuff as blasting ammo.

The remaining IMI I have left is on stripper clips in ammo cans.  I won't be shooting it until such time as I can replace it with new M855 (not factory rejects).

It might be there for awhile, unfortunately.

I picked up a case at Knob Creek a couple years ago. It sits in the bottom of my safe as "go to" ammo.
I have never seen anything stamped IMI that was not very high quality ammo or components.

I don't like M855 at all.  But I do have 2 of the 30 round boxes of IMI M855 just for the hell of it.

What about the IMI 55gr .223?  I never hear anything about this ammo any more.

Must be nice...  I haven't been in this "ammo game" for very long.  I wish I had a clue back when the getting was good.

I knew a guy who bought  A PALLET of 62 cases of this M855 from Botach in Los Angeles. They gave him a deal at $199 a case (Will Call p/u) and he and his buddies shot it all up in less than a year. 74,400 rounds.

I've shot up about 10K when I got it for $199 of the IMI M193 and all of it was good stuff. Real good...too bad it's gone. All of it
All I have left of the M193 is 660 rds loaded in mags in my SHTF grab-n-go can...
