I was at a gun show and picked up a K of this stuff yesterday, came home and discovered it really wasn't the type of ammo I want to sit on for "just in case". I also thought he might have been a bit high on the price at 300 but then again compared to what was at the same show 2 months ago, maybe not? The place was empty ammo wise and the vendors seemed to think it wasn't going to get any better.
At any rate I took it back today and bought some Winchester M855 instead (expensive).

One thing that struck me as maybe being a stretch was that the fella told me a lot of guys were shooting this ammo as match. After doing a Google search I find it hard to believe that this ammo is consistent enough to be shooting match grade.
It was also telling that he was still sitting on about 3500 of the 4000 he brought to the show seeing how it was about the least expensive ammo at the show and only 2 people even had any .223/5.56.

Just my 2 cents.
Also I'm not bashing the guy he was very polite and accommodating.
