Anybody try any of this stuff recently?  how did it function?  I'm looking at it at AIM, Century, and j@g sales.

Well lets put it this way.....

Have you ever shot a flint lock musket? Because that is basically what its like.  I picked up some a while back only because its all thats out there.  Came in a nice moldy old ammo box. Have some RG to and its pretty much the same...Click..boom!  Very good for getting rid of your flinch though.  Its better than nothing I guess since there is not  much mil spec .303 left out there.  Just my .02

I was also advised not to buy the Pakistan ammo and so the search continues for some worthy .303 Brit.Everytime I think I've found some it's already gone

Thanks.  I have some .303 I bought last year from the SG, but I don't know what manufacture it is.  I have got a few hangfires with it.

Which to me makes absofuckinglutely no sense.  100 years ago it was the most popular big game cartridge in the world.  What the hell happened to all of it?

I've fired it.... and like others, observed slow ignition.... but it all went bang.  Supposedly mildly corrosive.  I won't be buying any more.

Other stuff I've fired of new manufacture (non-corrosive) was good:  S&B, and some stuff in a blue box, made in Portugal (I think) that I found at a gunshow - both reasonably priced.

Good Luck

Good for pulling the bullets and that is about all it is good for...

Pretty much no good surplus 303 left ,even the British 1940's 50's surplus is Click-Bang too.. The last good surplus was the awesome Greek HXP surplus ball brought in 10+ years ago...

I read in a book, can't remember which one, that in the eighties the CIA bought tons of it up and supplied it to the muj in Afganastan to fight the russians with alla the short supply of good surplus today.
