 I order a case of this earlier this week and it showed up yesterday. I went thought the box last night. I got 1012rds of ammo with only two damage rounds, one bent at the neck another with the bullet set way back into the case. The rest was pretty clean, with only a few mild dings and very few case with any corrosion. I would say about 50-60% of it was '02 head stamp with ~30% '01 head stamp and the balance was '05 head stamp. Hope to add a range report in a week or two, hopefully to be testing in my new PMAG if they ever get here. |
| Minor range report. I case gauge 500rds of this and all but one passed the case gauge. I fired about 90rds of it at the range last weekend testing my new PMAGs. Did not shoot it for groups but I could keep most of a 30rd magazine on a 5 inch target spot shooting at a shooting bench, iron sights. Should be more than adequate for some fun plinking ammo, |
