At one time they did sell .223 (not mil 5.56) and it was great shooting ammunition purchased a few cases and none was bad or inconsistant. Of course this was around the time of the ban starting. To bad they arn't selling it was great cheap ammunition

What are you talking aboutWho is They?Manufactures make .223 ammo everday but the suppliers here rely more on 5.56 surplus as it used to be very cheap for the floor sweepings and it makes some guys feel like Rambo incase a SHTF takes place
But really there is .223 everywhere outside of the suppliers here that is shown on this site, trust me,As you cant find brass here on a Black Rifle site but i can go down the road and 2 gun stores has all the brass and componets and Loaded Wolf and Military surplus ammo and all the Commercial ammo loaded available and is never out.

Just gotta remember if you have 20 vendors here for ammo, mags and reloading supplies they are gonna get hammered on a constant basis and especially when panic buying is what most are doing,Glad to see Floor Sweepings almost at $450/k alreadyWhy there may be a new all time high on 5.56 surplus 10-20 year old sweepings by fall,$600-$800 a case is not out of question if you boys with deep pockets keep buying it for zombie storage

I'm guessing that the OP meant this to be part of an existing thread...the Aguila ammo one, perhaps.
