I bought some Wolf Polymer Military Classic .223 55gr about 2 weeks ago, I had it stored in an ammo box with dessicent packs inside my office so climate and humidity isn't a problem.  I opened up a few boxes to load up a few mags and noticed the cases weren't as smooth as other Wolf I have used,  It was almost like they either didn't put any polymer on it or only very little.  Most of the cases have spots of rust all over them, it's not real bad but it's rust non the less.

anybody ever have this happen?  I'm not extremely worried about and I will definetly still shoot it but just curious about it since lately I shoot a lot of Wolf and this is a first.

I shoot mostly wolf these days, mostly due to price.  I also have never had a problem with it as far as jams or malfunctions.  I don't even go as far as you have to keep it dry, it is either in the boxex or in an ammo box.  While I do keep those in a dry gun cabinet with the packs I have never put smaller packs in with the ammo.  The only time I have seen rust on the cases is when I look at the few I missed picking up in my yard.  It is obvious that moisture caused the rust, but I don't know how to explain it.

Let me know how everything works out with it, and hopefully someone will have a little more than I can offer.

I dont think Wolf Miltary Classic is polymer coated. The Wolf polymer comes in a black box, military classic is tan. I perfer the Polymer personally.
