Put it in the ammo cans and forget about it, it will be fine

If you ever plan of traveling*flying* with any of the ammo,keep it in the original boxes.
As for storage,as long as your cans have a decent seal,you`ll be alright.Though,I like to toss a pack or 2 of lil silica packs in just for shits and giggles.

I put my longterm stuff on strippers in bandos and pack them in marked cans with desiccant but that's mostly because I don't feel like dealing with the boxes later or if I need to grab and go. I keep the ammo I use at the range in boxes or just on strippers. I use my empty boxes as cheap reloading trays:)
