No such thing that I'm aware of.    BUT, if anyone has a source, PM me the price too!!!

And I agree hurricanezum, $160-ish for a thousand rounds of wolf is to much.  I haven't bought any since the price jumped up that high.

I'm not sure if there is such a thing anymore as "cheap plinking".  Better save what you have and switch to 22lr for cheap...

Cheap is a relative term, and your statements are in contradiction of one another. I believe wolf IS the cheapest ammo that is readily available. I would agree that wolf  would be too expensive at 160/k if there were other ammo for half that price. It is indeed a bit high, but I do believe it to be the cheapest. If you are going to just punch paper, why would you want to pay any more than necessary?

It is all I use for plinking, but some guys of course hate the stuff.

Because it looks prettier, or something?  Don't get me wrong, go with your preferences...but...

I've shot thousands of rounds of wolf through several different guns, I have had ZERO malfunctions, ZERO duds, ZERO harm to my guns and, since I shoot for practical accuracy, I have ZERO complaints.

I simply don't understand people who opt to pay 50% or 100% MORE for PLINKING ammo just on principle.  Wolf makes good ammo.  GREAT ammo when you factor in the price.  I wonder how many of the people who complain how terrible it is have ever actually used it.

You're going to pay at least $.20 per shot for brass cased ammo (at the cheapest). Period.

For plinking, steel cased will work fine; it just requires more dilagence in cleaning your weapon.

Cheapest plinking ammo I've found around Birmingham is Monarch blue box at Academy. 2.86 a box plus 9 percent sales tax comes out to 16 cents a round, exactly.

learn how to read because it makes you look IGNORANT i CLEARLY stated wolf at 160/k is ''alot''. not 223/556 ammo in general

You want to sit back while others do research and "PM" you their sources. Even if some one is nice enough to help you why "PM" so noone else can see what you just got for free? Then you insult cruze5 who is trying to help you.  Your an idiot!    Research your own ammo, like everyone else does.
